The all new Transit Custom / VW pop top, is an all new design specificly with the customer in mind giving you an even better quality product at a sensiable price with options to suit your campervan pop top needs.
The Pop top is currently only available in a short wheel base version with the Long wheel base being released later in the year.
All of our pop topts are fitted as standard with a zip open front window and a fly net either side of the canvas.

FAQ’s
· Q. Can the roof be fitted in a day?
· A. NO. We only fit quality products, this means we have strict guidelines to adhere to regarding a fitting process which takes time, this is very important for your safety. A typical fit will take 2 full days
· Q. What warranty do you give?
· A. Your Austops pop top will come with a 5 year warranty.
· Q. Will the roof bed come with a mattress?
· A. Yes it will, A 25mm thick foam along with a padded cover is supplied with any roof bed option.
· Q. Can I have a solar panel fitted top the pop top
· A. Yes you can, we strongly recommend you use a high-quality solar panel and fit to their manufacture installation instructions or just get us to do it while your new roof is being installed.
· Q. Can I have roof bars fitted, if so, what weight can I carry?
· A. Yes you can have bars fitted, Austops recommend no more than 25kg is carried on the roof. The gas struts and scissor hinges which support your roof have been manufactured specifically to support the weight of the Austops roof, enabling the roof to be open and closed efficiently and with the right amount of force. Additional weight on the roof will create an additional workload resulting in potential damage the struts and hinges.
· Q. What is the pop top bed weight limit?
· A. The maximum weight limit for the standard and Bi-fold bed kit is 150kgs (330lbs). The weight limit is applicable only when all items from our bed kit are used. CCS Will only use Austop supplied parts.
· Q. What colour can I have my pop top?
· A. At Custom Camper Solutions, we can supply virtually any colour. Simply provide us with a manufacturer’s paint code, paint name, RAL Code or any other industry recognised code and we will have the pigment mixed enabling us to supply a roof in your chosen colour. ( some colours may require an additional charge ) A metallic colour will require painting which will be an additional cost.
We loved our first VW camper converted for us by Dan and his team. However, when we saw the new one he designed (Highbook Twin) we decided it would meet our needs even better. We weren't wrong! The design and layout utilises every inch of available space and is extremely well thought through. Everything has been completed to the highest of standards and comfort and yet we still have all the advantages of having a small van that can be parked anywhere. We absolutely love our camper and have nothing but good things to say about this company.
We've had two CCS vans. The first we bought already converted just to check we enjoy the campervan lifestyle. After discovering we loved it, we bought a panel van and asked CCS to convert it to our exact spec. We just love our new conversion - it really feels like home, the build quality is excellent and it's really comfortable (the bed is comfier than the one in our home!). I expect we're different to most CCS customers in that we use the camper a lot. We picked it up from CCS five months ago, and have spent four of those months in the camper! It's held up the abuse very well - and when there has been the small niggle that crops up (unavoidable considering the abuse we give it), CCS have been brilliant at sorting it out. When we eventually wear the thing out and need a replacement, we'll be using CCS again. Highly recommended.
